Odum Kuthira Chaadum Kuthira: Trailer of Fahadh Faasil-starrer reveals the drama around a quirky couple's marriage

The makers of the upcoming Malayalam film, Odum Kuthira Chaadum Kuthira, unveiled its trailer today (August 10). Fans of Fahadh Faasil and Kalyani Priyadarshan have been eagerly awaiting the trailer's release ahead of its theatrical release on August 29.

In the two-minute and thirty-six-second video, Kalyani's character explains to Fahadh Faasil's character her dream about her wedding. Viewers soon see hints of a blossoming romance between them, while his friends allude to her eccentric behaviour and imagination. The arrival of another female character, played by Revathi Pillai, further illustrates the chaos surrounding their wedding. It is unclear if there is a love triangle between them. Overall, it suggested a romantic entertainer to enjoy in theatres this year during Onam. After a while, it also features Fahadh in a humorous avatar, reminding viewers of his characters in Oru Indian Pranayakadha and Pachuvum Athbutha Vilakkum.

Odum Kuthira Chaadum Kuthira release date

The filmmakers confirmed on a new poster that the movie will be released in theatres on Onam 2025. Producer Ashiq Usman had previously stated that the film will be released in May, but for whatever reason, it was delayed. Actor and director Althaf Salim is the director of Odum Kuthira Chaadum Kuthira, a romantic comedy drama. The director wrote the screenplay for the movie. Vinay Forrt, Lal, Lakshmi Gopalaswamy, Babu Antony, Johny Antony, and Suresh Krishna are among the supporting cast members of the movie. Revathi Pillai is making her Malayalam debut with this film. She is known for her performances in Special Ops, Special Ops 1.5: The Himmat Story and Dil Dosti Dilemma.

Mohanlal's Hridayapoorvam are among the other eagerly awaited Malayalam films that will be shown in theatres during Onam. It also stars Malavika Mohanan, Sangeeth Prathap and Siddique. Lokah Chapter One: Chandra, another film starring Kalyani Priyadarshan, is also aiming for an Onam release. Additionally, Maine Pyar Kiya, which features important roles for Hridhu Haroon and Preity Mukhundhan, will be released on the same date as Odum Kuthira Chaadum Kuthira.
