Odum Kuthira Chadum Kuthira: Fahadh Faasil-Althaf Salim’s film eyes these release dates in May 2025

Fahadh Faasil, whose last Malayalam release was Bougainvillea, is working with Althaf Salim for Odum Kuthira Chadum Kuthira. The movie, which also stars Kalyani Priyadarshan, will be releasing this year with reports suggesting that it could be out on May 8 or 16, 2025. Here’s everything that we know about the upcoming Malayalam, which is touted to be a comedy entertainer. 

Odum Kuthira Chadum Kuthira release

Althaf Salim’s Odum Kuthira Chadum Kuthira, starring Fahadh Faasil and Kalyani Priyadarshan, could hit theatres in May 2025 with tentative release dates being 8 or 16. However, there has been no official announcement regarding the Odum Kuthira Chadum Kuthira release date. 

The film is produced by Ashiq Usman, who had earlier said that he was hoping to release the film around May 16, 2025.

Apart from Fahadh Faasil and Kalyani Priyadarshan, Odum Kuthira Chadum Kuthira also features a stellar cast, including Revathi, Dhyan Sreenivasan, Lal, Vinay Forrt Suresh Krishna, Babu Antony, Johny Antony, and Lakshmi Gopalaswamy, among others. 

Fahadh Faasil-Althaf Salim’s collaboration

Fahadh Faasil-starrer Odum Kuthira Chadum Kuthira had garnered considerable attention when it was announced since it will have Aavesham star joining hands with Njandukalude Naattil Oridavela director. Althaf Salim, who is also an actor noted for his comic timing, had previously acted together with Fahadh Faasil in Pachuvum Athbutha Vilakkum. Odum Kuthira Chadum Kuthira marks their first collaboration as director and actor.

Althaf Salim had made a confident debut with Njandukalude Naattil Oridavela, which starred Nivin Pauly, along with Shanthi Krishna, Lal, and Siju Wilson. The movie won much appreciation for its story and performances, and was also a commercial success. 

Meanwhile, Fahadh Faasil was last seen in Pushpa 2: The Rule, starring Allu Arjun. Fahadh was also a part of Rajinikanth’s Vettaiyan. In Malayalam, he starred in Aavesham and was also featured in Bougainvillea in 2024.
