After its theatrical run, the film is set to debut on Netflix and will premiere on March 20. In it, Kunchacho Boban plays a demoted police officer who comes with his weight, while also having to head an investigation revolving around a fake gold chain. However, it soon leads to a gang of drug peddlers who have been targeting teenage girls for revenge. The ensemble cast also includes actors Jagadish, Priyamani, Vishak Nair, and Aadukalam Naren, among others. Officer on Duty is produced by Martin Prakkat, Renjith Nair, and Siby Chavara.
