OG box office collection day 3: Pawan Kalyan’s gangster drama third highest Telugu grosser; holds steady earnings

Pawan Kalyan’s recent Telugu actioner, OG/They Call Him OG, had debuted with over Rs 100 crore at the box office. But having seen a dip at the box office, the film has still been largely doing well, given it presently holds third place among the highest-grossing Telugu films this year so far.

OG is a 2025 Telugu action drama starring actor and politician Pawan Kalyan in the lead role. The film released in theatres on Thursday, with paid premieres held the night before. So, naturally, OG kick-started with good numbers and entered with a 100-crore opening worldwide.

With the first day collections amounting to Rs 63 crore, as per Sacnilk report, the total earnings in India as of Saturday is Rs 122 crore. The film has consistently maintained the numbers on Friday and Saturday, considering it is the only Telugu film to release. It is also to be noted that OG is an A-rated film, and considering this, the film’s financial returns are remarkable.

OG is also the third-highest-grossing Telugu film after Sankranthiki Vasthunam and Game Changer. With no major releases scheduled until next week with the arrival of Kantara: Chapter 1 and Idli Kadai, OG is expected to enjoy a theatrical run for some more time.
