OG movie box office collection day 1: Pawan Kalyan's actioner debuts with strong footing with 100-crore opening

OG, the 2025 Telugu action drama starring actor and politician Pawan Kalyan in the lead role, stormed in theatres this week, and has made a smashing debut. The film, which had paid premieres on Wednesday night, followed by release on Thursday, had made Rs 91 crore so far at the box office in India. Worldwide, the numbers state Rs 167 crore gross.

After the failure of Hari Hara Veera Mallu earlier this year, Pawan Kalyan's second film OG, is thankfully not facing the same fate. As of now, the film's box office collection stands at Rs 91 crore, which incudes the night of paid premieres on Wednesday amounting to Rs 20 crore, and Thursday collections which stands at Rs 70 crore. In total, the film has made Rs 91 crore. OG is expected to continue its run for few more days, given the film is the major release in Telugu, and has the weekend to enjoy solely. In total, the film has made Rs 167 crore gross, as per the makers.

OG had opened to majirly positive reviews, even as some critics had some issues with the writing. Nevertheless, the film was highly praised for its making, Pawan Kalyan's performance, and was called as fan service to the actor. It is written and directed by filmmaker Sujeeth, who previously made Saaho with Prabhas.
