The Arrangements of Love is written by Timeri N Murari, while the film version will be directed by Philip John
The co-producer of Samantha Akkineni-starrer Oh Baby, Sunitha Tati of Guru Films, has set her eyes on another international adaptation. She's producing a film titled Arrangements of Love, a screen adaptation of the bestselling novel of the same name, penned by Indian author Timeri N Murari. Multi-award-winning Welsh writer, director Philip John, known for films like Downtown Abbey and The Good Karma Hospital, is directing the film. The adaptation is co-written by Nimmi Harasgama, a screenwriter based out of California.

The Arrangements of Love, the novel, revolves around the story of Nikhil, a US citizen who lives with his stepfather and mother Sushma, whose roots trace back to India. The novel takes off with Nikhil's trip to India in his quest to find the whereabouts of his father. The link to his father is a novel written by him titled Georgetown, that Nikhil discovers in his mother's sari placed in a suitcase. It's not known if the film is to be made for the digital medium or theatres.
Apart from Arrangements of Love, Guru Films is also co-producing the Telugu remake of the Korean action-comedy Midnight Runners, which stars Regina Cassandra and Nivetha Thomas in the lead. Suresh Productions and Kross Pictures are also producing the film, being directed by Sudheer Varma. Guru Films have produced films like Courier Boy Kalyan, Bangaru Kodipetta, television shows like OK Jannu and America Ammayi in the past. Other details regarding the cast and crew of Arrangements of Love is expected to be out soon.
