Director Ashwath Marimuthu is awaiting the release of his film Dragon, starring actor and filmmaker Pradeep Ranganathan in the lead role. With the film scheduled to release on February 21 in theatres. Ahead of Dragon release, it makes up for the perfect time to watch Ashwath’s debut film Oh My Kadavule on OTT.

Oh My Kadavule on OTT

Oh My Kadavule is a 2020 romantic fantasy film starring Ashok Selvan, Ritika Singh, Vani Bhojan and others with Vijay Sethupathi and Ramesh Thilak making extended cameo appearances. The film has completed five years since its release. Additionally, with Ashwath's second film Dragon releasing on February 21, it is the perfect time to rewatch Oh My Kadavule. Oh My Kadavule revolves around two best friends who get married only to learn that they are incompatible. The rest of the film deals with a divine intervention that makes them wonder if they are right for each other.

When Silambarasan appreciated Oh My Kadavule

After Dragon, Ashwath Marimuthu is all set to team up with actor Silambarasan for a film tentatively titled STR 51. The film is billed to be a fantasy romantic entertainer. Earlier, Ashwath had shared how Silambarasan loved his debut film Oh My Kadavule and had called him to appreciate the film at the time of its release, and talked about the film for one and a half hours.

Meanwhile, Ashwath had mentioned that the film will cater to Silambarasan's fans, with the pre-production works in full swing. The film is expected to release in summer 2025, and will be backed by AGS Entertainment. The cast and crew of STR 51 are yet to be revealed.
