Actor Vishnu Vishal's younger brother Rudra is set to make his acting debut with Oho Enthan Baby . On the occasion of Rudra’s birthday, Vishnu Vishal has unveiled the new poster from his upcoming film. The Lal Salaam star wished his brother great success on his new journey. The new poster features the newcomer playing a piano, donning a black and white shirt. Below the poster, the makers revealed that the shooting for the film is under progress.
The film will be directed by Krishnakumar Ramakumar of Modern Love Chennai fame (Episode: Kaadhal Enbadhu Kannula Heart Irukkura Emoji). The upcoming film also stars Bollywood actress Mithila Palkar, making her Tamil debut. Earlier, when the project was announced, Vishnu Vishal took to his social media handles to unveil the title of the film.
Oho Enthan Baby - romantic drama
Touted to be a romantic drama, the upcoming film is produced by Rahul and actor Vishnu Vishal himself under his home banner Vishnu Vishal Studioz. The music for the film is scored by Darbuka Siva. The makers are yet to announce the rest of the cast and technical crew members.
Interestingly, Vishnu Vishal had been hinting at launching his brother in Tamil cinema for a few years now. In 2021, the actor had first announced that he was planning to launch his brother through a social media post, looking for suitable scripts. “We are now looking out for Feature Film scripts that will suit actor Rudra,” Vishnu Vishal had shared.
Vishnu Vishal’s Lal Salaam awaits OTT release
Meanwhile, Vishnu Vishal’s last outing Lal Salaam, directed by Aishwarya Rajinikanth, is yet to make its digital debut. The film which was initially planned to have an OTT release on Netflix, is now rumoured to have a different streaming platform. According to reports, the digital rights have been acquired by Sun NXT and is expected to get its OTT release date soon. The film hit the theatres on February 9.
