At last, Sharwanand succeeded in giving a break to his dry spell at the box office with the decent response to his recent release Oke Oka Jeevitham. The sci-fi comedy, that hit theatres on September 9, was made simultaneously in Telugu and Tamil (as Kanam) and marked the directorial debut of ad-filmmaker Shree Karthick. Ritu Varma and Amala Akkineni played prominent roles in the film that featured Vennela Kishore, Priyadarshi, Ravichander, Nasser and others in pivotal roles.

Oke Oka Jeevitham was also a new beginning for popular banner Dream Warrior Pictures, given it's their first-direct film in the Telugu market. After the critical acclaim and a decent theatrical run, Oke Oka Jeevitham is now OTT-bound. Leading streamer SonyLIV acquired the theatrical rights of the film and will premiere it on October 10, an official confirmation was out today. Jakes Bejoy had scored the music for the film which had cinematography by Sujith Sarang and was edited by his brother Sreejith Sarang.

The film revolves around three friends Aadhi, Seenu and Chaitanya, who aren't quite happy with their not-so-happening lives. If social anxiety is the main issue behind Aadhi’s journey as a musician not taking off, Chaitanya regrets that he couldn't marry his high-school sweetheart. Meanwhile, Seenu, a small-time house broker, is barely satisfied with his career progress. When a scientist offers them an opportunity to go back in time, what would they do to change their destinies?

Ali, Ravi Raghavendra, Yog Jappe, Madhunandan, Jay Adithya, Nithyaraj and Hitesh also essayed key parts in the bilingual. Pelli Choopulu director Tharun Bhascker had penned the dialogues for the film. Sudesh Kumar choreographed the action sequences while N Satheesh Kumar was the art director. Actor Karthi had lent his voice for a song in both the versions. S R Prakashbabu and S R Prabhu are the producers.
