What is Old about?

Based on the graphic novel Sandcastle by Pierre Oscar Levy and Frederik Peeters, the thriller revolves around the story of a group of vacationers whose holiday plans go awry when a trip to a secluded beach opens the door to unimaginable horror. Not only do the people find themselves aging at a rapid rate, they find that with every minute they spend on the mysterious location, their pre-existing medical conditions get worse, leaving them little to no time to devise a plan of escape. And of course, the film would not be a Shyamalan movie without a twist that you don't see coming.

Starring Gael Garcia Bernal, Rufus Sewell, Kathleen Chalfant, Alexa Swinton, Nolan River, Kylie Begley, Eliza Scanlen, Thomasin McKenzie, Emun Elliott, Alex Wolff, Ken Leung and Abbey Lee, among others, the film was released in the United States back in July.
