Om Kali Jai Kali is a new web series in Tamil which has been launched by JioHotstar. The trailer of the series was revealed by the streaming platform on social media on Wednesday. Om Kali Jai Kali is headlined by actor Vemal. The series is set to stream on JioHotstar from March 28 onwards, it was announced.

JioHotstar, which has presented web series in Tamil like Chutney Sambar, Parachute, Uppu Puli Kaaram and Goli Soda Rising, is back with yet another web series. The trailer of actor Vemal-led project is out now. The series will be available in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, Hindi, Bengali and Marathi languages along with English subtitles. Om Kali Jai Kali marks Vemal’s second web series after the critically acclaimed Vilangu .
The trailer begins with the murder of next MLA candidate, with Vemal being one of the perpetrators. The trailer gives the stamp of a crime thriller, as he is cautioned by a woman that people will come after them for revenge. We also see a temple festival taking place in the backdrop. The trailer has gritty action sequences and emotional stretches, with Vemal appearing in dual getups.
Om Kali Jai Kali is set to premiere on JioHotstar on March 28. Besides Vemal, it also stars actors Ilango Kumaravel, Ganja Karuppu, and other seasoned actors.
Where to watch Vilangu on OTT?
Actor Vemal made his OTT debut with Vilangu, a 2022 web series which is a crime thriller. It is available on ZEE5 and OTTplay Premium, which also houses a lot of other interesting crime thriller series to watch over this weekend, before Om Kali Jai Kali releases.
Directed by Prasanth Pandiyaraj, the film consists of seven episodes and also stars Ineya, Bala Saravanan, Munishkanth, and revolves around the police probe about three crimes that take place back-to-back. Vilangu opened to positive reception upon its release.
