Om: The Battle Within trailer: Aditya Roy Kapur and Sanjana Sanghi get into action mode and scream patriotism

OM: The Battle Within, starring Aditya Roy Kapur and Sanjana Sanghi, has finally released its trailer. The trailer for the film confirms that it will tell a strong story that will captivate audiences from the opening moment.

Aditya Roy Kapur will play a valiant and aggressive character who will undertake fearless daredevil exploits, fire firearms, and battle to safeguard the nation. Sanjana Sanghi is also shown in the teaser in a never-before-seen avatar, skipping the glamorous side of her. Sanjana will be seen in an action-role for the first time on the big screen, upping the action quotient of the film. 

Jackie Shroff, Prakash Raj, Ashutosh Rana, and Prachi Shah are among the supporting actors in the film.

A Paper Doll Entertainment production, directed by Kapil Verma and produced by Zee Studios, Shaira Khan, and Ahmed Khan, OM: The Battle Within is a Zee Studios and Ahmed Khan production. On July 1, 2022, the film will be released in theatres.

Earlier, while praising Aditya for his role, Ahmed told The Times of India that they had put the actor in the action zone in Om, and he'd done a fantastic job. Everyone will be taken aback by his portrayal, and it's always enjoyable to try new things. Aditya was known for his romantic roles, so having him do action, especially so much of it, has proven to be a success. That, Ahmed believes, is an accomplishment in and of itself. It feels fantastic to have accomplished something new.

Aditya had a no-show in 2021, but he had three releases in 2020, including Malang, which was released on the big screen, followed by Sadak 2 on Disney+ Hotstar and Ludo on Netflix. 

Meanwhile, Sanjana made her leading lady debut in Hindi with Dil Bechara, starring the late Sushant Singh Rajput in the lead role. The film premiered directly on Disney+ Hotstar.
