The 2011 political drama film Aarakshan featured Amitabh Bachchan, Saif Ali Khan, Manoj Bajpayee, Deepika Padukone, and Prateik Babbar. Prakash Jha explores the contentious policy of caste-based reservations in Indian government jobs and educational institutions, which serve as the backdrop for this socio-political film. Controversy arises when the Indian Supreme Court decides to institute reservations, causing friction between a lower-caste teacher named Deepak Kumar (Saif Ali Khan), his friend, and his mentor, Dr. Prabhakar Anand (Amitabh Bachchan). Disagreements put Deepak's friendships and allegiances to the test. Deepika Padukone plays Amitabh Bachchan's onscreen daughter, Purvi.

Kochadaiiyaan - JioCinema

Soundarya Rajinikanth directed the 2014 Tamil animated historical action film Kochadaiiyaan: The Legend, while K. S. Ravikumar was the writer. The film uses actors' likenesses to create its characters, making it the first photorealistic motion capture film in India. Leading ladies Shobana and Deepika Padukone (making her Tamil film debut) co-star with Rajinikanth. R. Sarathkumar, Aadhi Pinisetty, Nassar, Jackie Shroff, and Rukmini Vijayakumar have also provided character voices. After witnessing his father's unjust punishment, the envious master drives the protagonist, an eighth-century warrior, to seek revenge.

The film's Hindi dubbing featured Amitabh Bachchan as the narrator.

Baba forces Rana (Irrfan), the proprietor of a nearby taxi service, to personally transport them. The following is a whirlwind of activity, drama, and emotion that all ends in Kolkata, where they were born and raised.

Brahmāstra: Part One – Shiva - Disney+ Hotstar

The 2022 fantasy action-adventure film Brahmāstra: Part One: Shiva was written and directed by Ayan Mukerji, while Hussain Dalal wrote the dialogues. In the film, Shiva (Ranbir Kapoor), an orphaned musician with pyrokinetic abilities, learns he is an astra, a weapon of tremendous energy. This narrative is based on Hindu mythology. He makes an effort to prevent the evil forces connected to him from capturing the Brahmstra, the mightiest of the astras.
