Dhanush, who has been extending his unwavering support for his ex-wife Aishwarya Rajinikanth’s film Lal Salaam, took to his social media pages to give a shout-out to the Rajinikanth-starrer on its release day. The actor wrote, “Lal Salaam from today” on his X page. The short and sweet message from the Captain Miller star has made netizens go gaga, as users noted the actor’s admiration for superstar Rajinikanth. From ‘Once a Thalaivar fan, always a fan’ to ‘Actor with zero ego’, the internet has been showering the actor with love. Check out some of the reactions of the netizens:

On the day of Lal Salaam’s trailer launch, Dhanush sent his best wishes to the team by reposting the trailer video with the caption, “Best wishes to the team. God bless. #superstar #thalaivar (sic)”.

Despite their separation, the actor’s boundless support for his former wife, Aishwarya Rajinikanth, shows their mutual respect for each other.

Lal Salaam, starring Vishnu Vishal and Vikranth, has Rajinikanth in an extended cameo role. The film features music by Academy Award-winning composer AR Rahman, and cricket legend Kapil Dev also makes a cameo appearance. The film, which was released today on February 9, has been declared a sure-shot blockbuster by netizens.

Apart from the lead cast, the film also stars Vignesh, Livingston, Senthil, Jeevitha, KS Ravikumar, Thambi Ramaiah, Nirosha, Vivek Prasanna, and Dhanya Balakrishna, among others. 

Dhanush's Captain Miller is streaming on Amazon Prime Video

Meanwhile, Dhanush’s Pongal release, Captain Miller, has ended its glorious theatrical run and has made its digital debut on Amazon Prime Video. The movie, which is now available for streaming on the OTT giant, can be watched in Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu and Kannada. 

Dhanush has numerous interesting projects lined up, including his two directorial ventures, Nilavukku En Mel Ennadi Kobam and D50 with Vishnu Vishal and SJ Suryah. The Asuran actor will also be starring in Sekhar Kammula’s bilingual film, which is tentatively titled DNS (an abbreviation for Dhanush, Nagarjuna and Sekhar).
