One Cut Two Cut release: When and where to watch Danish Sait as arts and crafts teacher Gopi

Bengaluru-based funnyman Danish Sait was very proud and humbled that the late Puneeth Rajkumar was not only a fan of the former’s online video content and the characters he brought to life through them, but also saw merit in giving some of them a bigger platform through feature films. Danish’s first collaboration with Puneeth’s banner, PRK Productions, was French Biriyani, the Pannaga Bharana directed comedy that featured the Shivajinagar Urdu-Kannada speaking Asgar as the protagonist. Their second film together is the upcoming One Cut Two Cut, which presents Danish as Gopi, a naïve Bengaluru man, a character that the former presented during the pandemic. Last week, it was announced that One Cut Two Cut was one of three films by the banner that had been picked up for direct-to-OTT release on Amazon Prime Video, and now, we have a release date.

One Cut Two Cut will start streaming on the platform from February 3. Directed by Danish’s long-time associate, Vamsidhar Bhogaraju, the film features the actor as Gopi, whom they’ve presented as an arts and crafts teacher, with the narrative following how he would cope if his life turned upside down. Pegged as a family entertainer, with romance, action and comedy, One Cut Two Cut also features Samyukta Hornad and Prakash Belawadi in pivotal roles. The film will be Danish’s second collaboration with veteran Prakash, after the recent web series Humble Politiciann Nograj, which features one of the former’s long-standing character’s Nograj (Mr Nags).

One Cut Two Cut is the first release from PRK Productions after Puneeth’s passing. It will be followed by Rama Rama Re maker D Satya Prakash’s Man of the Match and Arjun Kumar’s Likith Shetty-starrer Family Pack.
