It's been exactly a year since the popular dance number Arabic Kuthu from Vijay and Pooja Hegde's Beast dropped on social media and fans can't stop sharing their excitement about it. The song, sung by Anirudh Ravichander and Jonita Gandhi, with lyrics by Sivakarthikeyan, became a massive hit. Taking to her Instagram handle, Pooja Hegde shared an unseen video from the song and wrote, “1 year since #arabickuthu… Well, here’s some extra bits for you for all the love that has continued to come in since then. #4amscenes #BTS #keepdancing (sic).” In the video, Pooja Hegde is seen practising her steps for the song. The video is now going viral on social media.

Arabic Kuthu was considered a pan-India hit and Sun Pictures, which bankrolled the film, celebrated the occasion with a video featuring Sivakarthikeyan and the film's music composer Anirudh Ravichander. In the video, Anirudh, who is dressed as a person from middle-east Asia, tells over the phone that the first song from Beast is ready. While the film's director Nelson Dilipkumar asks how the song has come out, Sivakarthikeyan, who has penned the gibberish lyrics says that it has the potential to be a pan-world hit. The video then gives a glimpse of Vijay practising for his steps under the supervision of dance choreographer Jani.

Beast is an action comedy, written and directed by Nelson.  The plot revolves around a former RAW agent, who is on a mission to save people who are taken hostage by terrorists. The film marked the acting debut of director Selvaraghavan. The star cast includes Vijay, Pooja Hegde, Selvaraghavan, VTV Ganesh, Ankur Vikal, Shaji Chen, Aparna Das, Shine Tom Chacko, Yogi Babu, Redin Kingsley, Lilliput, Sathish krishnan to name a few.
