Ooriki Uttharana, a rural entertainer that marked the acting debut of Naren Vanaparthi, directed by a newcomer Sateesh Paramveda, released in theatres a few months ago. Dipali Sharma plays the female lead in the small-town saga, the likes of Ankith Koyya, Ananda Chakrapani, Ramaraju, Phani, Jagadeesh Prathap Bhandari, Lakshmi, Lavanya Reddy too essay important roles in the film.
While the film released in theatres on November 19, 2022, the drama is now out on OTT. Amazon Prime Video acquired its post-theatrical streaming rights and has made the film available to the platform users through the ‘pay-per-view’ model. The film is available to watch on the streaming giant for Rs 79. Dhamaka, Balagam composer Bheems Ceciroleo scored the music for Ooriki Uttharana.
Produced by Vanaparthi Venkataiah under Eagle Eye Entertainments, Ooriki Uttharana has dialogues by Nagamani Raju and Uday Sharma. Rachala Yugandar Goud, Ganesh Reddy Bvm, Hussen Nayak are the co-producers. Shiva Sharvani has edited the film for which Srikanth Arupula has cranked the camera. Malya Kandukuri is the executive producer of the same.
The film promises to be a rollercoaster ride of emotions revolving around Raju (Naren Vanaparthi), who’s always worried about his marriage despite his poor academic record and he keeps facing rejections from potential matches. His father (Anand Chakrapani) is naturally worried about his future and wants him to finish his education by hook and crook, after which Raju joins a college.
When Raju joins a college, he falls in love with a classmate Sailu (Dipali Sharma). Sailu is the grand daughter of Shankar Patel, the village head. Will Raju express his love to Sailu and how will the latter respond? The love story takes drastic twists and turns later. Ooriki Uttharana, which earned a modest response from audiences in theatres, gets a chance to impress crowds on OTT now.
