Orange re-release: The Ram Charan, Genelia film rakes impressive numbers in just one day

Re-releasing movies of big stars in Telugu has become a common practice these days. After the likes of Pawan Kalyan's Kushi and Balakrishna's Chenna Kesava Reddy, Ram Charan's Orange was released on the 25th of March as Ram Charan's birthday special in a select few theaters in Telugu states to amazing response.

Looks like a number of Ram Charan fans thronged the theaters to watch the film as Orange made close to 3 crores in its release in just one day. These are impressive numbers considering the time limit of the release. Naga Babu has announced that whatever the film makes, he will donate the amount to his brother Pawan Kalyan's Janasena party.

The videos of fans dancing in the theatres already went viral on social media. Orange had music by Harris Jayraj and all the songs were big hits with the listeners. The album is considered to be one of the best in Ram Charan's filmography. Ram Charan played a loverboy in this film and romanced Genelia.

Orange was directed by Bommarillu Bhaskar and was about a man who had no interest in getting married due to his past relationship. The subject was too naive during those days and sadly the film bombed at the box office. Speaking in an interview, producer Nagababu said that Orange would have worked well if it would have been released in the last two years.
