Sunil Mysuru's debut film Orchestra, Mysuru! captures the vibrant and highly regarded orchestra scene of the city of Mysuru. With music being an integral part of the narrative, the film comes as an ode to a waning culture as the protagonist tries his best to navigate the set-up to make a mark for himself as an orchestra singer. Orchestra, Mysuru! is set to release in theatres on January 12, 2023.

The latest teaser, which was released on January 1st, offers a peek into the world of orchestras and also introduces the film's romance track featuring the characters played by Poornachandra Mysore and Rajalakshmi. Poornachandra, who plays an aspiring singer in the film, can be seen bustling with energy in the teaser as he tries to woo the woman he likes, simultaneously learning the ropes of the orchestra business. The same teaser also shows him being introduced to fellow singers and musicians and making his first strides as a newbie.

The trailer of Orchestra, Mysuru! will be released on January 3. The film is a joint production of Ashwin Creations and Raghu Dixit Productions. Raghu Dixit's soundtrack, which consists of 8 different tracks, is one of the main highlights of the film and with Daali Dhananjaya penning the lyrics of all the songs, the album of Orchestra, Mysuru! is a one-of-a-kind collaboration.

In a recent conversation with OTTplay, Raghu Dixit revealed that the film is mighty close to his heart considering that he too grew up in Mysuru and aspired for the longest time to be part of the orchestra culture. Some of his earliest musical influences, he says, stemmed from the orchestra performances that he witnessed as a child.

The makers have released four singles from the album so far, namely Maadappa, Sangeetha Sagara, Sulla Chandira, and the romantic number Nadiyondu. Sunil Mysuru shares the credit for the story of Orchestra, Mysuru! with singer Naveen Sajju with Poornachandra Mysore, Joseph K. Raja, and Mahadeva Prasad writing the screenplay. Joseph K Raja and Rahul Roy are the cinematographers with the former also serving as the editor.
