Oru Kattil Oru Muri OTT release date: When where to watch Poornima Indrajith-Hakim Shahjahan's film

Oru Kattil Oru Muri, which stars Poornima Indrajith and Hakim Shahjahan, was released in theatres in October 2024. The film is now headed to the OTT space with Manorama Max as its streaming partner soon. Oru Kattil Oru Muri on Manorama Max

The streaming platform Manorama Max has announced that Oru Kattil Oru Muri will be available from February 7, 2025. The movie will also be available on OTTplay Premium. Like the other films on the platform, Oru Kattil Oru Muri will be available in its original Malayalam language with English subtitles.

Oru Kattil Oru Muri cast and plot details

Apart from Poornima Indrajith and Hakim Shahjahan, Oru Kattil Oru Muri also features Priyamvada Krishnan in a key role. Vijayaraghavan, Shammi Thilakan, Jaffer Idukki, and Ganapathi appear in key supporting roles among others.

Oru Kattil Oru Muri literally translates to ‘one cot, one room’. The cot is central to the plot, as seen in the trailer and teaser. Poornima Indrajith essays the role of Akkamma, a Tamil-speaking woman, who is attached to the special cot she once shared with her husband. Priyamvada Krishnan plays a young woman, Madhumiya, who has taken the room on rent with the said cot.

Notably, the multi-narrative story has been written by Raghunath Paleri, a veteran, who is known for Ponmuttayidunna Tharavu, Mazhavil Kavadi Meleparambil Aanveedu and Devadoothan. The film has cinematography by Eldhose George

Oru Kattil Oru Muri did not create much buzz during its release and it remains to be seen if Shanavas K Bavakkutty’s film will gain some traction upon its OTT premiere.
