An official teaser of the Joju George-starrer Oru Thathwika Avalokanam was released recently and seems to have much resemblance with the recent controversy the actor meddled up in.

In the 43-second video, Joju could be heard asking everyone to question the wrongdoings happening in front of their eyes, which is the only way for society to develop. What appears to be a political satire addresses many contemporary situations. The teaser is grabbing many eyeballs already. The Malayalam film is written by Akhil Marar and is inspired by true incidents.

Meanwhile, it is interesting that the lines said by Joju in the teaser, coincidentally draws a resemblance from some real incidents that happened with him recently. His protest against a road blockade by the Congress party due to rising fuel prices was the talk of the town and media all over the past week.

The protest, which was staged on a busy road in Kochi, Kerala, blocked many vehicles for hours on the road. Joju, who was travelling urgently, got out of his vehicle and asked the protestors to not block the road, as many travellers are on their way for emergencies. The politicians reacted negatively, which eventually led to a debate, and further led to damaging the actor’s car. Joju has made a similar statement from the teaser in the real-life incident too, as he said the mode of protesting by blocking roads was not acceptable. He also strongly stood by his statement and didn’t regret it later.

Audiences are stirred up after the teaser, as they could connect it to the incident. Though it is a mere coincidence, the expectations towards the movie have accelerated by now.

Helmed by Akhil Marar, the movie also stars Niranj Raju, Aju Varghese, Shammi Thilakan, Major Ravi, Mamukoya and Prashanth Alex in vital roles. Under the production banner of Yohan Productions, the movie is backed by Gee Varghese and is slated to hit theatres on December 3.
