Not a lot of us know this but Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez was a part of the Oscar-nominated movie Tell It Like A Woman.

While Rajamouli’s RRR has earned itself a spot in the Best Original Song category, thereby making India proud, it is worth noting that Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez is also a part of another film that is nominated under the same category.

On Tuesday, January 24, 2023, the 95th Oscar nominations were announced. As far as the official list of Oscars nominees in major categories go, India has earned three of them. For the unversed, SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus RRR is nominated for Best Original Song and will now be competing with Jacqueline Fernandez's Hollywood film Tell It All Like A Woman in the same category.

For those of you who are not in the know, Tell it Like a Woman is an anthology of films made by eight female directors from different parts of the world. The star cast has some pretty big names that include Margherita Buy, Eva Longoria, Cara Delevingne, Anne Watanabe, Jennifer Hudson, Marcia Gay Harden, and Jacqueline Fernandez, among others.

Also, singer Diane Warren, who has been nominated 13 times, has written the original song for Applause.

Now, Jacqueline has taken to her social media pages to congratulate the entire team and expressed that she is proud of what the film has achieved.

Oscars 2023 will be held on March 12 at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles. Jimmy Kimmel will be hosting the event.
