Deepika has done so much more than anyone expected on a global scale that she is now breaking records and breaking new ground on many international stages. The actor has stood up for her country many times before, including when she was the only Indian on the Cannes Jury, when she unveiled the FIFA World Cup trophy, when she was named the first face of the biggest luxury brand in the world, and many other times.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Deepika will next be seen in a sci-fi film titled Project K, directed by Nag Ashwin. In the film, she will be seen alongside Amitabh Bachchan and Prabhas. The much-anticipated film also features Disha Patani in a pivotal role.
Deepika has also been shooting for Fighter, which reunites her with director Siddharth Anand. The film marks her first outing with Hrithik Roshan on the big screen. Anil Kapoor has also been roped in to play a pivotal role in the action film.
