Oscars 2023: Deepika Padukone shares BTS pics before introducing RRR song Naatu Naatu

Deepika Padukone has shared new photos from Oscars 2023. The actress is seen in BTS photos right before introducing the RRR song Naatu Naatu. The images have been going viral on the internet ever since she posted them.

Dressed in a stunning black gown, Deepika closed her eyes and rehearsed before going to introduce the song. She wrote, “And the rest is history…,” while sharing the pictures on Instagram.

Through the photos, Deepika shared her journey from backstage to the Oscars 2023 stage. She obviously left an impression since entering the podium.

Naatu Naatu won Oscar in the best original song category. The track was from SS Rajamouli’s RRR. The Hindi version of the song is called Naacho Naacho.

In fact, there was a special performance on Naatu Naatu at the Oscars 2023. The choreography pleased everyone attending the grand event.

Composed by M. M. Keeravani, Naatu Naatu was competing with Applause from Tell it Like a Woman, Hold My Hand from Top Gun Maverick, Lift Me Up from Black Panther: Wakanda Forever and This Is a Life from Everything Everywhere All at Once.

On the work front, Deepika was last seen in Pathaan. The movie starred Shah Rukh Khan as the male lead and John Abraham as the antagonist. It is currently the highest grossing film in the post-pandemic times.

The actress will next be seen in Pathaan director Siddharth Anand’s Fighter. The movie stars Hrithik Roshan in the lead role and will be the first time that the superstars collaborate on a project.
