Oscars 2023: RRR producer skipping the event becomes a hot topic in Tollywood

RRR has taken Hollywood by storm. The way it has won the prestigious Oscar awards shows is itself a proof of how big Rajamouli's period drama has become on the world stage. The film won the best original song at the Golden Globe Awards as well and the entire team along with Rajamouli's family attended the Oscars.

But now the hot topic of discussion in film circles is that the man who produced the movie, DVV Danayya is nowhere to be seen. DVV Danayya was the solo producer of RRR and was seen only during the promotions when the film was released in India. He has skipped all the international events of the film and even the biggest of them all, the Oscars the other day.

Some of the noted people in the industry have expressed their doubts over Danayya skipping the Oscars. There is a gossip going around that things are not that good between Rajamouli and his producer and that is the reason he skipped the event. The general feeling is that as his film is dominating the world stage, he should have been physically present and enjoyed all the laurels.

Back in India, the producer was seen in only a TV interview and the same was asked why he skipped the event. In a simple way, the star producer says that he does not like the limelight and likes being backstage. But the way he answered the question clearly shows that there is something wrong, otherwise which producer in the world stays away from an event like Oscar which comes once in a lifetime.
