Anime fans are in for a disappointment as two of this season’s popular anime series have been delayed. Recently, Hell's Paradise: Jigokuraku announced the delay in its episode 9 and now the makers of Oshi no Ko have announced that its episode 8, scheduled to be released on May 31, will premiere on June 7.

Daisuke Hiramaki’s popular anime series, Oshi no Ko premiered this year with Season 1 delving into the life of Japanese idol, Ai Hoshino. Much to the disappointment of the fans, makers of Oshi no Ko have announced that episode 8, scheduled to be released on May 31 will now premiere on June 7 with a special episode premiering on May 31. The special episode will be a compilation of its first few episodes, taking the audience through the storyline of the series.

Written by Aka Akasaka, Oshi no Ko is a Japanese manga which takes us into the life of Ai Hoshino, a Japanese idol who gives birth to twin babies in secret. Little does she know that her gynecologist, Gorou Amemiya has incarnated in the form of her son, Aquamarine Hoshino who swears to protect his mother. His encounter with the world of glamour and showbiz shows us the dangers and hollowness of the industry, while solving the mystery around Ai’s death.

Voice actress Rie Takahashi has lent her voice to main character Ai Hoshino. While artists, Takeo Ootsuka, Yurie Igoma and Megumi Han have lent their voices to Aquamarine Hoshino, Ruby Hoshino and Kana Arima respectively.
