The spy thriller by Vishal Bhardwaj is based on the Amar Bhushan espionage book Escape to Nowhere and is based on actual events. The movie tells the narrative of Krishna Mehra, an R&AW agent who is tasked with finding the mole selling India's defense secrets. Krishna Mehra is played by Tabu. Additionally playing important parts are Ali Fazal, Wamiqa Gabbi, Ashish Vidyarthi, and Azmeri Haque Badhon.
