The second week of May sees the release of a large number of brand-new web series on OTT. Additionally, this weekend marks the debut of a number of thrilling English web series on digital platforms including Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Disney Plus Hotstar, and Zee5, among others. Also, actress Sonakshi Sinha will make her OTT debut with Dahaad. Take a look at this week's online releases and add them to your watchlist.

Dahaad:

OTT Platform: Amazon Prime Video:

With the upcoming Hindi online series Dahaad, Sonakshi Sinha will be making her OTT debut. Along with actors including Vijay Verma, Gulshan Devaiah, and Sohum Shah, the Reema Kagti and Ruchika Oberoi-directed criminal drama looks gripping. The eight-episode television series had its global premiere in February 2023 at the Berlinale International Film Festival. Sonakshi Sinha will be portrayed by Anjali Bhaati (Sinha), a sub-inspector in the web series who works with her colleagues to try to solve a grisly murder case while an unknowing culprit is still at large. The show is all set to release on May 12, 2023.

Taj - Reign of Revenge:

Taj - Reign of Revenge, a web series that will start 15 years after the conclusion of the first season, is here following the popularity of the periodic series Taj: Divided by Blood. The most recent installment follows Salim (Aashim Gulati) as he transitions from being the Mughal Empire's exiled opponent to someone seeking vengeance and trying to become the next emperor. Along with Naseeruddin Shah as Emperor Akbar, Dharmendra as Shaikh Salim Chisti, Shubham Kumar Mehra as Prince Daniyal, Sandhya Mridul as Queen Jodha Bai, Zareena Wahab as Queen Salima, Queen Ruqaiya Begum as Padma Damodaran, and Rahul Bose as Mirza Hakim, the eight-part series will continue to feature these actors.

Queen Cleopatra:

OTT Platform: Netflix: 

The fascinating tale of how Cleopatra VII preserved her family's history is explored in this gripping documentary on Queen Cleopatra, the last pharaoh of Egypt. She is depicted as a dark-skinned woman in the film, which is filled with betrayal, murder, and sex-motivated manipulation, thanks to reenactment scenes performed by actor Adele James. The show started streaming on May 10, 2023.

Legally Romance:

The novel "Don't Fall in Love With the Boss" by Ye Fei Ran served as the inspiration for the show Legally Romance. Qian Wei (Song Zu Er) ought to have been well on her way to establishing herself in her career at the age of twenty-eight. Working with Lu Xun (Huang Zi Tao) as a paralegal, however, has so far proven to be anything but fantastic. Lu Xun has made sure that Qian Wei's life is nothing short of a living hell because he has been holding a grudge against him since they were both students. But everything changes when Qian Wei suffers a fatal accident. From May 10, 2023, he show is available on MX Player.

The Great 3:

OTT Platform: Hulu:

The third season of the Emmy-winning comedy-drama series "The Great," which stars Elle Fanning and Nicholas Hoult, has been released. In the latest episode, Fanning and Hoult play Queen Catherine and Emperor Peter III, respectively. Following Catherine's imprisonment of his friends and nearly successful assassination of him, Peter and Catherine will attempt to save their marriage. Along with Phoebe Fox, Adam Godley, Gwilym Lee, Charity Wakefield, Douglas Hodge, Sacha Dhawan, Bayo Gbadamosi, Belinda Bromilow, and Gillian Anderson, The Great also stars Phoebe Fox and these other actors.
