Choona on Netflix

Pushpendra Nath Misra wrote and directed the heist comedy series that stars Jimmy Shergill. The six small-time ordinary joes who plan the daring heist on the show centre around their fervent need for retribution. Aashim Gulati, Vikram Kochhar, Chandan Roy, Namit Das, Gyanendra Tripathi, Atul Srivastava, Monika Panwar, and Niharika Lyra Dutt also star in Choona. The show will release on Netflix on August 3.

The Hunt For Veerappan on Netflix

The true-crime docuseries that follows the life of notorious bandit Veerappan, who operated out of the vast forests of Tamil Nadu and Karnataka. According to the summary, The Hunt for Veerappan, also known as "Robinhood of India," explores the unseen and unheard, offering first-person experiences from people who were close to Veerappan and those who worked relentlessly to apprehend him. Director Selvamani Selvaraj is making her debut with the four-part series. The Hunt For Veerappan will release on Netflix on August 4.

Following university professor Nandi Mahlati, who thinks her husband Leonard is having an affair, in this South African erotic-thriller show. After spending a weekend away from home, she starts a passionate physical connection with Jacob, a younger man. When her best friend Brenda is killed, though, her entire life begins to fall apart. Jacob's true identity was revealed in Volume 1, but he said he wasn't to blame for Brenda's passing.

Heartstopper Season 2 on Netflix

Heartstopper is a coming-of-age romantic comedy-drama that is based on the ongoing webcomic and graphic novel of the same name by Alice Oseman. The story revolves around Charlie Spring, a gay schoolboy who develops feelings for Nick Nelson, the boy he sits next to. With exams, a school trip to Paris, and prom in the near future, the new season follows the gang as they navigate the ensuing stages of love, life, and friendship. Heartstopper Season 2 will release on Netflix on August 3.

Guardians Of Galaxy Volume 3 on Disney plus Hotstar

Another intriguing release this week is the May release of the Marvel blockbuster. The James Gunn-directed film will follow the group of misfits as they adjust to life on Knowhere, including Peter Quill (Chris Pratt), Gamora (Zoe Saldana), Rocket (Bradley Cooper), Drax (Dave Bautista), and Groot (Vin Diesel). Guardians Of Galaxy Volume 3 released on Disney plus Hotstar on August 2.
