OTT releases: From Vikram Vedha to The Mother - top movies to binge watch this weekend

There are many of fascinating OTT platform releases this week, including Bollywood films and web series in both Hindi and English. There is plenty for everyone to appreciate, from crime dramas to documentaries. Here are a few of this week's most anticipated film releases on OTT platforms.

Vikram Vedha:

OTT Platform: Jio Cinema:

Released on September 30, 2022, the action-thriller starring Hrithik Roshan and Saif Ali Khan, Vikram Vedha, took in Rs 120 crore at the box office. Pushkar and Gayathri wrote and directed the film, which YNOT Studios and they both produced together. Hrithik Roshan and Saif Ali Khan are the lead actors in the movie. The film also stars Radhika Apte, Rohit Saraf, and Yogita Bihani. 

Vikram Vedha's OTT release date has not yet been made public, however based to rumours, it will be available on Jio Cinema on May 12, 2023. 

The Mother:

OTT Platform: Netflix:

The frightful drama, which stars Jennifer Lopez as the main, centres on a ruthless assassin (Lopez) who emerges from hiding to defend the daughter (Paez) she abandoned years earlier while evading dangerous men. Actor Omari Hardwick from "Army of the Dead" and newbie Lucy Paez also appear in it. In his role, Hardwick plays an FBI agent. Raci's and his personas have both been referred to as Lopez's allies.

Crater:

OTT Platform: Disney Plus Hotstar:

In Crater, a young kid growing up in a lunar mining colony travels to investigate a mysterious crater with his four closest friends following the death of his father before being sent permanently to a another planet. The movie has been compared to the 1986 film "Stand By Me" as a coming-of-age tale.
