Ponniyin Selvan 2

Mani Ratnam's magnum opus has dropped on Prime Video, albeit with a twist. The film is available for rental and one needs to shell out Rs 399 to watch the historical fiction. The plot revolves around the battle for the Chola throne and is based on Kalki's novel of the same name. The film features a stellar cast including Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Vikram, Trisha, Karthi and Jayam Ravi.

Pachuvum Athbutha Vilakkum

Debutant director Akhil Sathyan's film has Fahadh Faasil playing Pachu, an ordinary man, who lives an ordinary life but suddenly finds himself on this extraordinary journey, which changes his perspective of life and everything in it. According to the media statement, "Pachuvum Athbutha Vilakkum is a beautiful story of an emotional journey, sprinkled with comedy, and drama, making it a light and engaging watch for audiences of all ages."

Bharatha Circus

This political investigation drama, directed by Sohan Seenulal, depicts the days in the life of a middle-aged man Laxmanan Kani, who comes to the police station with a complaint of mental conflict, and the issues that arise as the investigation progresses. The plot also delves into the detrimental effects of casteism. The star cast includes Binu Pappu, Shine Tom Chacko, M A Nishad, Sunil Sugadha, Jaffer Idukki, to name a few.

Yaanai Mugathaan

The fantasy comedy, which marks the Tamil debut of Malayalam director Rejishh Midhila, revolves around an auto driver named Ganesan, played by Ramesh Thilak. And just like his name, he is an ardent devotee of Lord Ganesha. However, his unscrupulous lifestyle often lands him in trouble. One day, the Ganesha idol goes missing. Later, he realises that he is unable to see Lord Ganesha, be it picture frames or idols, and he begins to figure out the reason.

Sathi Gani Rendu Ekaralu

The film, directed by Abhinav Danda is set in the small town of Telangana. The plot revolves around Sathii (Jagadeesh Bandari), a poor man who is forced to sell his two acres of land and make a deal with the village head to perform his daughter's heart surgery. Meanwhile, he finds a briefcase filled with precious stones and finds it an ardous task to sell them.
