OTT South releases of Week 1, July 2023: Sweet Kaaram Coffee, Amazon Prime Video's latest series about three women on a road trip has just dropped on the platform. This apart, after completing their theatrical run, a slew of south films are gearing up for release this week. Check out the list of films that are streaming on OTT.
Sweet Kaaram Coffee
Three women of different generations living under the same roof decide to go on an impromptu journey. The feel-good series, which stars Lakshmi, Madhoo and Santhy in the lead, is created by Resha Ghatala and is directed by Bejoy Nambiar, Swathi Raghuraaman and Krishna Marimuthu. The series made its premiere on July 6.

Farhana
Aishwarya Rajesh's Farhana, written and directed by Nelson Venkatesan, is all set to drop on OTT on July 7. The film stars Selvaraghavan, Aishwarya Dutta, Jithan Ramesh and Anumol. The plot revolves around a woman whose life takes a turn after she joins work to fend for her family.

Kathar Basha Endra Muthuramalingam
Arya is seen in a rustic avatar in this village drama, written and directed by M Muthaiya. Sticking to his usual template, the director has set the drama against the rural backdrop. But, instead of making the conflict between classes or castes, the film explores the underlying tension between two religions.

Anuragam
This feel-good family entertainer, directed by Shahad Nilambur, stars Gautham Vasudev Menon, Sheela, Lena, Aswin Jose, Gouri G Kishan and Devayani in pivotal roles. The movie marks Gautham Vasudev Menon’s second Malayalam movie this year, after Lovefully Yours Veda.

Takkar
Siddharth plays a happy-go-lucky young guy named Gunashekhar 'Guns' whose only aim in life is to get rich through hook or crook. The plot revolves around this pursuit, in which he sees unforeseen complications. Co-written and directed by Karthik G Krish, Takkar also stars Divyansha Kaushik, Abhimanyu Singh, Yogi Babu and others.
