Kohrra is among the most loved web shows of 2023. Created by Sudip Sharma, the Netflix series stars Barun Sobti, Harleen Sethi, and Suvinder Vicky in pivotal roles. At the OTTplay Awards 2023 held in Mumbai, the team of Kohrra won the Best Screenplay (Series) award for the gripping story. Gunjit Chopra and Diggi Sisodia have worked on the screenplay for Kohrra.

On behalf of team Kohrra, Diggi Sisodia and Gunjit Chopra accepted the award for Best Screenplay (Series) at the OTTplay Awards 2023. While accepting the award, Diggi and Gunjit said, "This is for Punjab and the people of Punjab. They have been very supportive of whatever I have done there. And thank you to all the actors who really took all the damaged souls that we ended up putting in Kohrra and made us fall in love with all of them." The two would also thank Netflix and Sudip Sharma, the creator of the show.
The official synopsis of Kohrra, as per IMDb, reads, "When a bridegroom is found dead days before his wedding, two police officers must unravel the troubling case as turbulence unfolds in their own lives and threatens to ruin the case."

While Kohrra was created by Sudip Sharma and directed by Randeep Jha, it was bankrolled by Karnesh Ssharma's Clean Slate Films in association with Netflix. The web series was released on July 15, 2023, and was appreciated by both critics and audiences. In the show, Barun plays Assistant Sub-Inspector of Police Amarpal Jasjit Garundi, while Suvinder Vicky is Sub-Inspector Balbir Singh. Harleen played the role of Nimrat Kaur, Balbir's daughter.

The OTTplay Awards 2023 took place at Taj Lands End in Mumbai on October 29, 2023. The event had celebrities like Anil Kapoor, Kajol, Rajkummar Rao, Sobhita Dhulipala, Alaya F, Mona Singh, Sharib Hashmi, and others in attendance.
