OTTplay Awards 2023: Karishma Tanna thanks Hansal Mehta for her role in Scoop, 'She is close to my heart'

OTTplay Awards 2023 is back for the second time after successfully hosting the first-ever pan-India awards last year. Here we celebrate the incredible performers, filmmakers and storytellers in the field of OTT and honour them with the prestigious award. Karishma Tanna, soon after winning the award for Most Promising Actor on OTT, for her series Scoop, thanked the makers.

During the OTTplay Awards 2023, Karishma said, “Thank you very much for this incredible honour. I’m truly humbled and it gives me more motivation to work harder. I would like to thank Hansal sir for Jagruti Pathak. She is close to my heart, really lives in my heart. Thank you my entire team. This was not possible without you. Thank you so much.”

Based on a crucial incident that took place in the life of Jigna Vora, the popular web series follows the tale of a crime reporter, who fights for justice after getting falsely accused in a murder case of a famous journalist and in the connection with underworld. Starring Karishma Tanna as Vora, the biographical crime drama also features Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub, and Harman Baweja in major roles, along with Prosenjit Chatterjee, Tannishtha Chatterjee and Deven Bhojani as supporting characters.
