OTTplay Awards 2025: Avneet Kaur bags Rising Star of the Year for Party Till I Die

Avneet Kaur is a very well-know actress in the film industry. She received praise for her role in crime thriller web series, Party Till I Die and for this, she bagged the Rising Star of the Year award at the third edition of OTTplay Award 2025, which was held in Mumbai on March 22.

Party Till I Die is a crime thriller web series starring Avneet Kaur and Vishal Jethwa, which premiered on Amazon MX Player, follows a group of wealthy 19-year-olds whose Goa weekend trip for a photo shoot spirals into a deadly struggle for survival when a party turns dangerous, and friends become enemies. The series explores the extremes of human behavior and the lengths people will go to when survival is at stake.

Avneet, who was presented the award by Shalin Bhanot at the show that was hosted by Aparshakti Khurana and Kubra Sait, said, "Thank you so much OTTplay for the recognition. Thank you my fans for always supporting me. This is my award in this year."

Speaking about Avneet’s career, she works in Hindi television and films. Kaur is well-known for her work in Dance India Dance Li'l Masters, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 5, Mardaani, Chandra Nandini, Aladdin – Naam Toh Suna Hoga, and Tiku Weds Sheru.

OTTplay Awards 2025 also saw the who’s who of Indian OTT space turn up, celebrating the theme - “One Nation, One Award”. Kajol, Rana Daggubati, and others were also honoured at the award function, which had celebs from film industries including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada.
