Mumbai last night saw the who’s who of the tinsel town from across the country land in the city to celebrate the One Nation, One Award at the OTTplay Awards 2025. The event, which celebrated talent from across the country, had so much unfolding that the audience was left excited. While there was a The Family Man reunion, we also saw Imtiaz Ali at his candid best, but one of the key moments that filled the room with accolades, pride, and cheer was when Hina Khan was invited to accept her Most Promising Star trophy.
The actor, who has been battling cancer for a while now, inspired everyone as she held the trophy high and said that she has been working out throughout chemo and can not only handle the trophy but also make it look even more dashing.

When the host for the evening praised her for her battle with cancer and how she makes sure to show up every single day, she thanked him. But the moment that won all hearts was when one of the presenters offered to help her hold the trophy—she politely refused and captured the admiration of the entire room.
Hina Khan ensured she was the highlight of the evening as she held the trophy in one hand, the mic in the other, and walked towards the audience. While doing so, she said:“No, no, no, it's okay. I have been working out, I have hit the gym throughout my chemo. So I can handle this.”
