Kunal Kohli took the stage to present the Best Actor Female (Popular) award, and the audience was almost certain that Kajol would take it home. Before making the announcement, he revealed a fascinating fact: “There are only six actresses in the world who have won Best Actor awards across four decades. When Kajol stepped onto the stage, she exuded inspiration. However, the actor also opened up about the tough week she had and took a moment to express gratitude. “I would like to thank OTTplay Awards for having wonderfully good taste and a higher-than-normal cue to pick me for this particular award. It's been a very, very strange week, so standing on this stage today brings back to me that I have a lot to be grateful for. I am loved, and I cannot thank everyone enough for it. I know that to be loved like this is rare. So thank you so much for that, for bringing it home to me, and for making a difference this week.”
