Nihil Siddhartha needs no introduction as he has been in the industry for over one and a half decade. He is high with the success of his last two films Karthikeya 2 and 18 Pages which belonged to two different genres. Karthikeya 2, in particular was a major rage at the Pan-Indian box office.
Nikhil was awarded the Trailblazer of the year award at the recently concluded OTTplay Changemakers Awards in Mumbai for his film Karthikeya 2 which was a Pan-India hit. When asked about the recognition, Nikhil says "Such awards motivate me big time. Karthikeya 2 started as a small film and shocked everyone with its collection. This proves the fact that if the content is good, the audience will watch it in every nook and corner of the country and the same happened with Karthikeya 2".
Adding further, he says "We dubbed the film very carefully and with respect to every language. So when you watch the film in Tamil, or Hindi or any other language, it looks native". On the other hand, Nikhil also stresses on the word Trailblazer and says times have changed now in Indian cinema and people like Rajamouli and Guneet Monga are the real trailblazers who have put Indian cinema on the world map. "The boundaries have now been eradicated and Indian stars like Prabhas, NTR, and Ram Charan are now global stars" ends Nikhil.
Nikhil also updates about his future projects and says he has two films lined up in SPY and Karthikeya 3. SPY is yet another Pan-India release and is about a national issue. Nikhil will be seen in an action packed role for the first time in his career in SPY.
But his much-awaited film will be Karthikeya 3 and Nikhil says "This is one film which will be bigger than the first two instalments and will be made in 3D". For now, Nikhil has made heads turn and one can say that his hardwork of all these years is finally paying off.
