Hoichoi original web series Mohomaya, featuring Swastika Mukherjee in the lead role, is back. The show, which released early this year, is already set to return with its second chapter, which is a continuation of its first season.

Chapter 2 of Mohomaya will begin where the first one ended and the new chapter promises to keep the mystery of the show alive.

Not only does Kamaleswar Mukherjee return as the director for the series, but Swastika and the other cast members from chapter 1 will be reprising their roles too.

While Swastika and Biopul Patra will return as Aruna and Rishi, respectively, Ananya Chatterjee will be seen as Maya. Sujan Mukherjee as Suranjan, Suhorta Mukhopadhyaya as Mimo, Arunava Dey as Miki, Deerghoi Paul as Baishali, Angana Roy as Trisha and Jaya Chaudhury as Suranjan’s sister will also be reprising their roles.

Miki, who played a major role in the first season, will also have a massive impact in chapter 2. He is expected to turn the story around and prepare the audiences for new episodes of the show.

Rishi’s obsessive behaviour, too, will cause problems in the second chapter. It would bring some major changes and shocking moments. Sahana Dutta and Rohit Samanta, who were part of the first chapter, are not joining the second season as crew members.

The web show will be dropping later this month. The trailer and promo videos for the new season are expected to drop soon too.

Mohomaya chapter 1’s Hindi dubbed version released on MX Player, but there is no update whether the second chapter will also be dubbed and released on the same platform.

On the movie front, Swastika was last seen in the Bengali film Guldasta. The Arjunn Dutta directorial released in 2020.
