Actor-writer Akshay Dogra is still making headlines for his AltBalaji show Hai Taubba 3. The actor who penned the script for one segment of the series, is a fan of Indian web shows. He believes that our Indian content is to a level that is brilliant on its own.

Thus, the actor recommended some shows that we at OTTplay have also asked people to watch over some time. The shows include Paatal Lok, Scam 1993, Jamtara and Panchayat. While the first two are gems that are loved by everyone, the last two are those that are underrated and deserve your attention right away.

Paatal Lok

The Anushka Sharma produced show gives the viewers a glimpse into the dark world of crime. Inspector Hathi Ram (Jaideep Ahlawat) tries to investigate a case only to see the cruel side of the underworld.

Scam 1992

Inspired by Harshad Mehta's story, Scam 1992 on Sony LIV became a web series every other person spoke about. The show introduced the world to Gujarati actor Pratik Gandhi and his chemistry with filmmaker Hansal Mehta.

Jamtara

Two cousin brothers Rocky (Anshumaan Pushkar) and Sunny (Sparsh Srivastava) run a scam in the Jamtara district along with some friends. They are successful, till one day, the scam gets reported and out in the public. How their life unfolds post that, is explored in the series.

Panchayat

Abhishek Tripathi (Jitendra Kumar) cannot find a job that allows him to show his talent in engineering. As fate has it, he ends up taking the role of a village panchayat who is involved in day-to-day mundane tasks.
