OTTplay launches ExtraOrdiNaari Awards, India's first all-woman OTT awards, to celebrate extraordinary women in the OTT space

India's first AI-powered OTT recommendation and content discovery platform, OTTplay, has announced a celebration starting March 8-17, 2023, for its ExtraOrdiNaari Awards, which aims to recognise and honour the extraordinary women in India's OTT industry. 

This initiative is a tribute to women's contributions to the sector, which have shattered stereotypes, broken down barriers, and inspired millions. The awards programme intends to encourage a culture of respect, collaboration, and diversity to create a more equitable and inclusive industry.

According to Avinash Mudaliar, Co-Founder and CEO of OTTplay Premium, the ExtraOrdiNaari Awards recognise outstanding examples of women who embody the values of leadership, excellence, and passion. “OTTplay is thrilled to acknowledge women in the OTT industry. OTTplay The ExtraOrdiNaari Awards will be held later this year, and will create a public platform for people to nominate their favourite OTT ExtraordiNaari actor, director, and more from across the country.
