Vijayaraghavan’s latest Malayalam film, Ouseppinte Osiyathu, will be available for streaming soon on two platforms. Sarath Chandran's debut directorial film, which also features Dileesh Pothan, is already available on Amazon Prime Video, but on rent. However, starting this Friday, subscribers can stream Ouseppinte Osiyathu on Manorama Max and Prime Video.
Ouseppinte Osiyathu to stream on two OTT platforms
Ouseppinte Osiyathu, featuring Vijayaraghavan along with Dileesh Pothan, Kalabhavan Shajohn and Hemanth Menon, released in theatres on March 7, 2025. Though the film became available on Prime Video on May 1, viewers had to pay Rs 145 to rent it. Now, Manorama Max has announced on their Instagram page that Ouseppinte Osiyathu will start streaming on the platform from May 9. Online trackers have also said that the film will be available for subscribers on Prime Video as well.

This is good news for Ouseppinte Osiyathu, which won largely positive reviews, but was not a crowd puller at the theatres. With the poignant film becoming available on two platforms, it is expected that Ouseppinte Osiyathu will find a bigger audience who would appreciate the film’s craft and the performances.
Ouseppinte Osiyathu plot and lead cast
Ouseppinte Osiyathu narrates the tale of an elderly man and his bond with his three sons. Vijayaraghavan, who has been a part of Malayalam cinema for over three decades, appears in the titular role of Ousep. Dileesh Pothan of Malik fame, Kalabhavan Shajohn and Hemanth Menon appear as his sons. The supporting cast includes other notable names such as Kani Kusruti of All We Imagine as Light fame, Zarin Shihab who played a short yet key role in Rekhachithram, and Lenaa.
Where to watch other recent Malayalam films on OTT
Several of the latest Malayalam films are now available on OTTplay Premium. Bromance, starring Arjun Ashokan, Mathew Thomas, Mahima Nambiar, and Sangeeth Prathap, is the latest addition to OTTplay Premium. Basil Joseph’s whodunit thriller Pravinkoodu Shappu and Antony Varghese’s action-packed Daveed are the April OTT releases on the platform. Another of Basil Joseph’s 2025 film, Maranamass, will also start streaming on SonyLiv and OTTplay Premium from May 15, 2025.
