What is Ozark about?

Ozark follows the story of Marty Byrde, a skilled financial adviser who starts to launder money for a Mexican drug cartel. After Marty’s business partner steals money from their bosses, Marty is forced to pay back the sum and decides to take his ‘business’ to the Ozarks.

Who are the cast and crew behind Ozark?

Jason Bateman stars as Marty Byrde and Laura Linney essays the role of his wife, Wendy. The series also stars Julia Garner as Ruth, a young woman who Marty meets in the Ozarks and employs. Sofia Hublitz, Skylar Gaertner, Jordana Spiro, Charlie Tahan, Jessica Frances Dukes, Felix Solis, Alfonso Herrera and Adam Rothenberg also essay pivotal roles in the show.

The series was created by Bill Dubuque and Mark Williams. Bateman has also served as director and executive producer for the series as well. For his directing on the show, Bateman had received the Emmy Award for Outstanding Directing for a Drama Series.

Javi decides to make the best of Navarro’s imprisonment by trying to exercise more control over his uncle’s cartel. After he kills Wyatt and Darlene, Ruth swears to take revenge.
