Pa Ranjith launches Madras fame Hari and Tolet fame Sheela's next

Director Pa Ranjith recently launched director Justin Prabhu's upcoming film in Chennai. The film stars Hari Krishnan and Sheela Rajkumar in the lead. The plot of the film revolves around the daily routine of middle-class families. While the shooting is scheduled to kick-start soon, the entire movie will be filmed in and around the locales of Krishnagiri.  

Hari Krishnan shot to fame with his critically acclaimed performance in Pa Ranjith’s movie Madras, which had Karthi in the lead. The actor is said to be playing a unique role in this new movie. Sheela Rajkumar, who has won appreciation for her performances in movies like Tolet and Mandela plays the leading lady.

While A Kumaran is handling the cinematography of the film, Ramanan is in charge of the editing. The film is bankrolled by Golden Suresh and Vijayalakshmi of Manjal Cinemas.

In the meantime, Ranjith is busy with his upcoming film Natchathiram Nagargiradhu, the first look of which was released recently. The film stars Dushara Vijayan, Kalidas Jayaram, Kalaiyarasan, Maari Vinoth and Shabeer Kallarakkal. The director, who released the first look of the film, which resembles a painting, wrote, "Love is Political! #NatchathiramNagargiradhu, My next directorial, coming soon to cinemas near you. @officialneelam @YaazhiFilms_ (sic)." The plot is said to revolve around a bunch of theatre artistes, who face caste discrimination. 

Tenma will score the music, while A Kishore Kumar and RK Selva will handle the cinematography and editing respectively. Ilayaragu will handle the art direction. While Sandy has choreographed the dance moves, Stunner Ram has handled the action. The film is jointly produced by Yaazhi Films and Neelam Productions and is expected to hit screens later this year. Ranjith will then team up with Vikram for his next, which will be produced by Gnanavel Raja. Ranjith's last outing was Sarpatta Parambarai.
