Paappan motion poster: Suresh Gopi to set screens on fire

Suresh Gopi's next film is gearing up to set your screens on fire. The filmmakers released the motion poster today, featuring him smoking a cigarette with a gang of men in front of a jeep. Suresh Gopi looks intense, donning his investigative hat. Fans have been rejoicing since the release of the poster to see their favourite actor in the police avatar again.

The actor posted the motion poster on Instagram and captioned it saying, "#Paappan First Look Motion Poster. Alongside Master Craftsman #Joshiy!"

The crime thriller is directed by Joshiy and produced by David Kachappilly and Raaffi Mathirra. The film also stars Nyla Usha, Neeta Pillai, Kaniha, Asha Sharath and Gokul Suresh in supporting roles. The film revolves around a voluntarily retired Crime Branch officer Abraham Mathew Mathan, more popularly known as Paappan. He is forced to take up the charge again to solve a long-standing murder case. 

The film is special for the Malayalam audience as it features the real-life father-son duo on the big screen for the first time together. The film also marks actor Nyla's second collaboration with the director. She has earlier worked with him Porinju Mariam Jose. She played the female lead named Alappattu Mariyam Varghese in the period action thriller.
