Actor Suresh Gopi is known for his roles as a police officer in several films and now after a long gap, he returns in a khaki uniform on screens with the film Paappan. The makers have dropped the trailer of the much-awaited film, directed by Joshiy and it is sure to keep you on the edge of your seats with its intense music and Gopi's powerful punchlines.

The trailer opens with a cop, played by Nyla Usha, investigating what looks like a very high-profile murder case. As she is on the lookout for the psycho killer or as she says 'a mad man', her senior gets Abraham Mathew Maathan (Suresh Gopi) to assist in the case. But it seems like she is not happy with Maathan, who is believed to be the most uncorrupted officer in Kerala Police, as their methods and investigation style differ. But Maathan does not seem to care about it at all. The video clip, which is close to 3 minutes long, further shares glimpses of the thriller drama and hints at the possibility of Maathan also being that psychopath that the police are hunting down.
