Paathirathri OTT release update: Zee5 bagged the streaming rights for Navya Nair's film and was scheduled to release the movie on February 13, but it remains postponed. Soubin Shahir plays a key role

Starring actress Navya Nair in the lead role of a cop, the Malayalam film Paathirathri is yet to make its OTT release, though it hit theatres in October 2025. The cop drama film, which also stars Soubin Shahir, was earlier reported to be heading to Manorama Max. But OTTplay has learned that Paathirathri will drop on Zee5 (OTTplay Premium) instead, though it will not land this week.
Where to watch Paathirathri on OTT
Paathirathri, directed by Ratheena PT, was released in theatres on October 17, 2025. The film, which depicted the lives of a senior woman police officer and a junior cop, opened to mixed reviews and had a forgettable box office run. Though the film was rumoured to have locked its OTT partner, there was no official update on Paathirathri’s digital debut.

Zee5 has bagged the streaming rights for the Navya Nair film and was scheduled to release the film on February 13. But the digital release of the film has been postponed and its new release date is yet to be announced. Once the film drops on Zee5, it will also be available for OTTplay Premium subscribers as well.
What is Paathirathri about
Paathirathri revolves around SI Jancy, played by Navya Nair, and CPO Hareesh (Soubin Shahir). Like what the title Paathirathri hints, the film follows certain events one midnight as they are on patrolling duty and the impact it has on the cops’ lives. Sunny Wayne and Ann Augustine play other key roles in the film, directed by Ratheena PT who is best known for directing Mammootty-led movie Puzhu .
Which are latest Malayalam movies on OTT
The horror comedy movie, Nellikkampoyil Night Riders, which had also released in theatres in October 2025, recently made its digital debut on Zee5 and OTTplay Premium. Mathew Thomas plays the lead role in the movie. Mindiyum Paranjum, starring Unni Mukundan and Aparna Balamurali, also landed on Sun Nxt via OTTplay Premium last week.
Actor Nivin Pauly’s Sarvam Maya, aslo starring Riya Shibu, was the other big release on JioHotstar via OTTplay Premium last month.
