Paayel Sarkar joins Ritwick Chakraborty and Parambrata Chatterjee in a horror film

OTTplay reported on July 17 that ace actor Ritwick Chakraborty will be acting with Parambrata Chatterjee in his directorial project. Now, it has been confirmed that the film will also feature Paayel Sarkar. Moreover, it has also been confirmed that it will be a horror film with a working title, Ekhane Ondhokar. 

In an interview with Aajkal Dot In, Paayel said, “I see horror films whenever I get the chance. Unfortunately, such movies are rare in Bengali cinema.” Elaborating on the film and her character, the actress said, “I won’t say much about my role. But I can say that in the movie, two different timelines will be shown in parallel. And there will be as much supernatural element as possible.” 

The team of Ekhane Andhokar will soon fly to London for the shoot, and Payel is excited about it. She revealed that London's weather, environment, and surroundings are suitable for this kind of shooting, and she is fully engrossed in preparing for the shoot.

Interestingly, Parambrata has completed shooting another supernatural web series for Holichoi. The series features a bevy of actors, including Chiranjeet Chakraborty, Gourav Chakrabarty, Arna Mukherjee, Surangana Bandyopadhyay, and Anindita Basu. 

Earlier, Parambrata had told OTTplay, “I wanted to work with Ritwick for a long time. He is an unorthodox actor. Everything is in the initial stage.”
