Padakkalam box office collection update
More than 100 screens throughout the state are still showing Padakkalam 22 days after its theatrical debut. Given that several films, including Dileep's Prince and Family and Tovino Thomas' Narivetta, made their big-screen premieres in May, this is quite an accomplishment. Mohanlal's Thudarum also enjoyed a great run in theatres and still does despite its OTT release.
The film, which was produced on a budget of Rs 7.5 crore, reportedly made over Rs 11 crore. A week after its release in Kerala, Padakkalam also made its theatrical debut in the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Oman, and Bahrain.
All about Padakkalam
Although Padakkalam, which revolves around the idea of body-swapping, has some humorous moments, its drab screenplay makes it an average film. In the meantime, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Sharaf U Dheen, and Sandeep Pradeep received appreciation for their hilarious performances.
Manu Swaraj has directed this movie. Suraj played a significant part in L2: Empuraan and Veera Dheera Sooran, while Sharaf U Deen starred in the recent Malayalam flicks, Bougainvillea and Level Cross. The female lead is Niranjana Anoop. The Secret of Women, her most recent film, is currently accessible on Sun NXT and OTTplay Premium.
