The final Friday of 2022 will see an eclectic collection of Kannada films hitting the big screens and Hariprasad Jayanna's Padavi Poorva is one among them. The film, as the title suggests, is centred on teenhood, the early trysts with love, and a lot more with college life serving as the main backdrop.

The team of Padavi Poorva recently released the first teaser which reveals that the film is a nostalgic trip to the pre-digital era of the 1990s, with a set of vibrant characters and a relatable storyline at the heart of it. And now, to give another glimpse into this alluring world, the makers have released the first video single in the form of Yaake Sikke.

Arjun Janya lends his spunky tune to the song which is all about teenage love and the unblemished excitement it brings about. While the lovely visuals of the song set the context, Yogaraj Bhat's masterful play of words captures the expression of a young boy's first love. Nihal Tauro of the Indian Idol fame, who has previously worked with both Janya and Bhat on Gaalipata 2 for the Neenu Bagehariyada Haadu, lends his charming vocals to the Yaake Sikke track. B. Dhananjaya has choreographed the song.

Padavi Poorva marks the debut of Pruthvi Shamanur and Anjali Anish with Yasha Shivakumar of Bairagee & Monsoon Raaga fame too featuring as one of the leads: the film also boasts a big ensemble cast of young artists. Yogaraj Bhat produces the film along with Ravi Shamanur with Santhosh Rai Pathaje (Paramathma, Chowka, Gaalipata 2 etc.) handling cinematography and Madhu Thumbakere taking care of editing.
